I'm Heide Göddert, and I founded Heide Reisen – a small, specialised travel agency for private trips through Transylvania and Romania. I was born and raised in Transylvania, near Sibiu (Hermannstadt), and belong to the community of Transylvanian Saxons.
German is my mother tongue, Romania my home – a double bond, in language and culture, that still shapes everything I do.
After emigrating to Germany, I worked in business for many years and learned what really matters in planning, organisation and looking after people – in travel, too. Today I combine that experience with my detailed knowledge of Transylvania.
One thing matters most to me: that you don't come as tourists, but as guests – and leave as friends.
